Gee-Gees “best decision” for local recruit (VIDEO)

Ottawa nose/defensive tackle joins OUA team’s 2016 class

Reflecting back on his year, if there is one thing Nick Parish got right, it was where to continue his gridiron journey.

The 6’0, 296 pound nose/defensive tackle signed with hometown CIS team, Ottawa Gee-Gees.  Parish will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

“It was the best decision I’ve made this year,” elaborated Parish.  “I chose to stay in Ottawa and play for my home city because of the chemistry with the coaches and players on and off the field and I felt welcomed.”

“Attending a few practices, I got to know the whole defensive line and the defensive coaches and I clicked with it and realized this was the football program for me. I am looking to help make a impact on the defensive line throughout the years and look forward to see what happens next.”
