Drue Moore, a top linebacker from Paul Dwyer Catholic High School and the Oshawa Hawkeyes of the OVFL, leads a long list of accomplished football players who have committed to the Concordia Stingers.
Moore enjoyed a lot of success in 2014. His high school made it to the final in the OFSAA Bowl Festival Series last month, but lost a tough one 35-28 to Lucas Secondary School. Moore, a team captain, led all tacklers in the championship game with eight.
With the Hawkeyes last summer, he led the OVFL in tackles. The six-foot-two, 220-pound middle linebacker had 28 solos, 46 assists and 152 defensive points in eight games.

Four all-stars from the Quebec CEGEP system have signed CIS Letters of Intent, including John Abbott College receiver Skylar Bayliff and teammate John Oda-Gallagher, an athletic defensive end; Vincent SĆ©guin, a defensive back from CĆ©gep de LanaudiĆØre and CĆ©gep de St. JĆ©rĆ“me running back Alexandre Bouvrette, the MVP offence at the Division 3 level.
The Stingers now have 23 recruits committed to joining the program either in January or for training camp in August.
