OFC: Varsity Toronto Jr. Argos Begin Extended Road Trip Against Wild

The Varsity Toronto Jr. Argos will face off against the Nipissing Wild tomorrow in their first, of many, away games.

The Jr. Argos lost 31-7 to the Sudbury Gladiators in a fast paced battle last week. The Jr. Argos are 0-2 this season, but look to improve their record in North Bay.

The Wild were trounced by the Chatham-Kent Cougars in week two, 40-7.

The Jr. Argos will have to improve their running game against the Wild if they want to be successful. Last week the Jr. Argos rushing game was led by no. 39 Joseph Sarfo-Boateng and he will be able to put up big numbers against the Wild.

Wide receivers no. 89 Kevin Collins and no. 84 Nathaniel Rouse had excellent performances last week, and the team expects the same level of play tomorrow.

Finally, last week the team lost captain linebacker Frank Trentadue. It will be interesting to see how the team handles the loss of him.

The game takes place tomorrow at 2PM at Rollie Fisher Field in North Bay.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
