Jayden ā€œJ Trainā€ Delorme first hit the gridiron back in 2010 at the tyke level with the Brockville Bucs in the Brockville Youth Football Association (BYFA) and the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA).

The 12-year-old continued to play with the Bucs in both the BYFA and the NCAFA until 2014.

During that year the middle linebacker played in the spring with the Kemptville Jags in the Kemptville Minor Football Club (KMFC) at the mosquito level, where he also played in 2015.

That year also brought Jayden to the Ontario Prospect Challengeā€™s (OPC) Ontario East team at the minor level as a defensive end.

This fall, Jayden is a member of the NCAFAā€™s mosquito Rideau RedBlacks as their defensive captain, but has yet to play do due a broken tibia in week one. He is looking to be cleared by Oct. 4, 2015.

During the offseason J Train does conditioning camps in the winter, summer and spring. He also plays basketball for his school and competes with Hip Hop dance.

ā€œMy goal with OPC is to make my game better,ā€ said Jayden. ā€œTo be coached by elite coaches, play with other elite football players and get my name out there.ā€

The RedBlack does not graduate high school until 2021. Ā Despite university being so far in the future Jayden hopes to attend Texas A&M, Oregon State or Penn State to play football.

On the field, the middle linebacker idolizes Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots because he aspires to be just like him, an absolute force on the field.

ā€œI love playing football because when Iā€™m on the football field I feel dominant, confident and unstoppable,ā€ explained J Train. ā€œTo me football is like a brotherhood, my team is a 2nd family to me.ā€

ā€œItā€™s a bond you wouldnā€™t understand if you didnā€™t play football.ā€

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
