Raic and Riva sign with Roughriders (Video)

uOttawa’s fourth-year receiver Bogdan Raic has signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, two weeks ahead of the team’s training camp.

The 6-foot-2 target shone in his fourth season with the Gee-Gees, amassing 25 receptions for 497 yards – an average of 82.8 yards per game in his six games during the regular season. He picked up two touchdowns in the Gee-Gees’ season opening win over Guelph, and added three more scores over the course of the season.

The Ottawa product and A.Y. Jackson Secondary School graduate attended the CFL E-camp this spring, but went undrafted in the May 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] draft.

He will report to training camp at the University of Regina on May 30 for the Riders rookie camp, where he will be joined by fellow OUA player Nathan Riva. The four-year running back with Western was also signed by Saskatchewan today.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
