Responsibilities:
The Academic Facilitator / Defensive Assistant Reports to the Head Coach, Football.
The job will run from May 1st 2013 to April 30th 2014.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Meet on a weekly basis with Ravens players and review their academic progress
- Develop, organize and evaluate a plan to monitor all players in their academic year
- Organize the players and teach them time management skills
- Coordinate and facilitate academic support for the players.
- Coach on the defensive side of the ball and work closely with the DC and Special teams coordinator on preparation and game planning
- Identification and Recruitment of student athletes Nationally
- Assist in any in βseason or off-season duties that may arise
Qualifications:
Elite level coaching experience with a strong academic background.Β A university degree is required for this position.Β Special teams background an asset.
