The Vancouver College Fighting Irish (Vancouver) and the John Barsby Bulldogs (Nanaimo) are the 2010 British Columbia AAA & AA high school football provincial champions.

The Vancouver College Fighting Irish defeated the Terry Fox Ravens 28 to 15 last night at Empire Field.
VC star running back [picture] Adam Konar (yes, long time BC Lion, UBC LB Kevin’s son) had an amazing game. Three touchdowns and 2 interceptions, and for that you get the game MVP. Irish QB Jeff Tichelman had another solid game.
It is VCs first title since 1994.

John Barsby Bulldogs ran their way to a 53 to 27 victory over the Handsworth Royals.
Running the ‘double-wing’, RB Nathan Berg [picture] had another big game for the Bulldogs, scoring 2 TDs and rushing for well over 150 yards.
It is the Bulldogs first title since 2000.
