The 2009 PFC rushing champion returned to the lineup for Sunday’s road game against Winnipeg and made his presence known in a big hurry. Schuler would score 2 first half touchdowns as the Hilltops cruised to a 36-0 halftime lead on their way to a 42-9 romp over the Rifles. The 4th-year tailback rushed for 112 yards on 20 carries in the victory.

DEFENSE-CHANCE HANSON, Edmonton Huskies

Hanson had a very impressive night as his Huskie teammates squared off against their Clarke Park co-tenants the Wildcats on Saturday night as he amassed 30 defensive points thanks to 12 tackles and 2 quarterback sacks.

The 30-point game narrowly missed the top 5 list among the single-game best individual defensive points in conference history.

The fourth year veteran receiver recorded his 2nd kickoff return touchdown of the 2010 season on Sunday afternoon. He would ignite his offensive mates by returning the opening kickoff of the 2nd half 111 yards. That would be the catalyst to a 21-point 3rd quarter, as well as the 3rd longest kickoff return in conference history. He would add a 44-yard punt return on his way to a 240-yard return day.
