1) For those Canadians who do not already know, talk a little bit about how you got to where you are right now.

While playing for the London Falcons of the OVFL, I was asked to play for a Central Canadian Select team by Peter Zonta. With the Canadian select team I traveled to Virginia to play Fork Union Military Academy. After the game the FUMA coaches asked Peter Zonta if me and two others on that team would be interested in coming to Fork Union. I later decided to attend Fork Union and stayed there for two years. My senior year I acquired 8 division 1 offers and committed to a school in November. Through a series of circumstances I did not follow through with my Initial plan and signed with the University of Richmond.

2) What is the best thing about playing NCAA Football? What is the most challenging thing?

Going to school for free is the biggest benefit about playing NCAA football. The schedule is the most demanding thing. Balancing school, lifts and practice is extremely challenging.

3) What is your biggest individual goal for 2010 season? Team goal?

I am a redshirt this year so my goal is to lift, practice and get better every day so I can compete for a starting spot in the spring.

4) What is something that people should know about you?

I could not have got where I am today if it wasn’t for my family and great coaches.

5) What advice do you have to young football players in Canada?

Whatever level of football you are trying to pursue, train everyday to be the best. If you are trying to pursue an NCAA career, train extra hard, get lots of exposure through film. Your 10th and 11th grade summers, attend as many college one day camps as you possibly can. If you want to pursue prep school in the U.S. look around for a school that works for you. Fork Union was a challenge, but an experience of a life time.
