Team Canada (Sr.) conducts tryout today in Guelph: Yesterday in Saskatoon

The fourth IFAF Senior World Championship will feature the best players from eight countries competing for the coveted title. The tournament will be held in three cities in Austria – Graz, Innsbruck and Vienna – from July 8-16, 2011.

IFAF and host Austria hope fans and media will travel from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan or Korea, Mexico and the United States to support their team. Fans from non-competing countries are of course also welcome to share in this celebration of football.

Football Canada is conducting a series of three selection camps to determine the players who will represent Canada as members of the Senior Men’s National Team.

The first of these selection camps took place in Moncton on January 30. The remaining two camps are scheduled for Saturday, February 26 in Saskatoon at the Saskatchewan Soccer Centre and Sunday, February 27 in Guelph at the Marden Fieldhouse.
