Chaminade College school (Toronto) continues to produce many great football players and some of those players have chosen to take the ‘prep school’ route. Tevaun Smith (REC) has chosen The Kent School as a route to get to the NCAA and Stewart Anoya (OL) will attend Loomis Chafee. Both schools are located in Connecticut and play in the same conference. Eight other Chaminade players have committed to CIS programs, listed below.

Tevaun has been getting attention from FBS schools Connecticut, Boston College, Temple, Iowa, North Carolina State, Syracuse as well as some FCS schools. Stewart has received attention from a mix of FBS and FCS schools including Connecticut, Syracuse, Princeton, Colgate, Cornell, Stony Brook, and Fordham.

Tevaun played for the Metro Wildcats and Team World (vs. Team USA) in January where he was the MVP of the game for Team World, scoring a kick off return touchdown. Stewart also played for the Metro Wildcats and in 2010 represented his province at the Football Canada Cup.

A total of 10 Chaminade players have moved on to the next level, 8 committing to CIS programs, while the two above committing to the prep school route. Congrats to all of the players and head coach Patrick Diodati and his staff.
