Class of 2028 DL Jonah Johal out of Clarkson Football North in Mississauga, Ontario, carries himself like somebody who has been around football culture his entire life. The game was already in the family before he ever strapped on pads, and now the former British Columbia standout is carving out his own path on one of Canadaβs biggest stages.

Before making the move east to Clarkson Football North, Johal built his foundation in British Columbia football with Coquitlam Minor Football and St. Thomas More Collegiate. Winning became part of the routine early. Provincial championships in tackle football and flag football gave him experience in high-pressure environments long before the CFC Prospect Game ever entered the picture. That winning background still shapes how he approaches the game today.
There is also a strong football bloodline behind the scenes. Johalβs cousin, Herschel Johal, currently plays offensive line at Bucknell University, and that connection helped show him what reaching the next level actually looks like day to day. Instead of football feeling distant, it became tangible.
Now the Richmond, British Columbia native has his sights set on forging his way to the next level.
