Class of 2028 QB Tevonte Bramwell out of David Suzuki in Brampton, Ontario has become one of the more exciting young quarterbacks to watch in the province. The ball rarely stays still when he is on the field. One second he is escaping pressure, the next he is taking off downfield or firing a strike into tight coverage.

The Brampton native started playing football in Grade 8 and immediately connected with the position. Quarterback gave him freedom, creativity, and the chance to control the game with the football in his hands every snap. Since then, Bramwell has steadily built a reputation as a dangerous dual-threat playmaker capable of hurting defenses in multiple ways.

That growth exploded during the 2025 OSFL season. Bramwell threw for 1,600 yards and 17 touchdowns while also rushing for another 1,100 yards and 11 scores, showing exactly why so many coaches around Ontario have started paying attention to his development.

His football journey has also been shaped by strong mentorship around him. Bramwell has worked with experienced football minds including Brandon Ihanza, who played for the Manitoba Bisons and St. Mary’s before competing professionally in Europe and representing Team Canada. He has also learned from CFL veteran Shaq Johnson and former Laurier quarterback Connor Carusello, giving him exposure to different perspectives at high levels of the game.

The list of accomplishments is already growing quickly. Bramwell earned Offensive MVP honours with the Peel Panthers at both the U14 and U16 levels, captured Junior Football MVP at David Suzuki, helped win a junior ROPSSAA championship, and recently earned MVP honours at the UBC camp along with GrinchElite Offensive Player of the Year recognition.

Recruiting interest has already started coming in from programs including York, McMaster, UBC, Acadia, and Queen’s.

Bramwell says he is heading to Hamilton prove he belongs in conversations about the top quarterback prospects in North America.
