"It would mean a lot to me and my family if I could play in the CFC Prospect Game on TSN in front of a national audience. My family would be so proud of me, and most of all my dad would be so proud of me. My mom has worked so hard to make sure I have everything and all the experiences that I can so I can pursue my goals."

There`s no stat for it, and that`s exactly why @gavinhemeon impact is easy to miss.

@varsitybluesfootball interim head coach @tommykanichis says his four-year-starter right tackle is a team captain, a leader of men and one of the best OLs in the conference. The Thunder Bay product stands 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, and a showdown with York Lions` Jaden Dicks has Kanichis excited for this weekend’s Red and Blue Bowl. His case: protecting the football, running it and keeping his QB clean can dictate how a game plays.
