The Concordia Stingers continue to add pieces to the class of 2011 puzzle. Three new recruits have committed to the Stingers and the rumour on the street is they have a couple more they are looking at for 2011. Also, two original commits will not be attending Concordia this fall.
Sean Mayzes (DB – picture) from Vancouver College originally committed to Queen’s University but instead will attend Concordia this fall. CFC featured Sean in February after he committed to Queens. CLICK HERE for link to that story.
John McMullan (6’1 215 Linebacker) from Donald Wilson high school in Whitby, Ontario has an interesting story. After graduating from high school John enlisted in the army buy has since withdrew and is now pursuing his academic and football dreams at Concordia.
Dan Horta (Mississauga Warriors / St Marcellinus 6’2 275, MVP and top lineman) is a great young lineman from Mississauga, Ontario. He is playing with the Mississauga Warriors this summer season.
Jordan Wilson Ross is off to England. Leicester to be exact where he has signed a pro contract to play rugby. No more football for him. Also, Ottawa Sooner Andrew Younis will not be attending Concordia this fall.
