OFC: 24 Varsity players to receive Chris Bruce award at championship ceremony

HWMFA TO HOST 2011 ONTARIO FOOTBALL CONFERENCE VARSITY CHAMPIONSHIP AND
CHRIS BRUCE AWARD CEREMONY ON AUGUST 6TH, 2011

The Hamilton Wentworth Minor Football Association is pleased to welcome the top varsity football teams from the Ontario Football Conference this Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at
Beverly Community Center Football Fields (located at 680 Hwy#8 in Rockton, Ontario).

At 12:30PM, the Peterborough Wolverines (6-*‐2) will host the Chatham-*‐Kent Cougars (5-*‐3)
in the varsity division. At 3:30PM, the Huronia Stallions (7-*‐1) will take on the undefeated
Burlington Stampeders in Junior Varsity division action. At 6:30, the Huronia Stallions (4-*‐1-*‐3)
will kick off against the Twin Cities Predators (7-*‐1) in the Senior Varsity division.

Immediately after the Junior Varsity Championship game at approximately 5:30pm, Senior
Varsity players who were named Player of the Week will be presented with the OFC Chris
Bruce Award for Outstanding Performance; Kelly Williams, Chris’s sister will present the award.
