A missed seven-yard field goal in the dying moments of their game last week against the VI Raiders (2-0-1) proved costly as the Sun fell by a score of 30-29 at Caledonia Park.
Things won’t get any easier for them as they prepare for their third straight road game this Saturday, August 25 against yet another undefeated team in the Langley Rams (2-0-1). Kickoff is 7 pm at McLeod Stadium.
The VI Raiders, after narrowly escaping with a home victory in Week 3 over the Sun, are back on the road this Saturday when they head into Interior to do battle with the Kamloops Broncos (1-2). Kamloops is coming off a 34-21 road loss to the Westshore Rebels last week. Kickoff is 7 pm at Hillside Stadium.
The Rebels (2-1), meanwhile, will be aiming for their third straight win this Sunday, August 26 when they host the winless Chilliwack Huskers (0-3) at Bear Mountain Stadium. Kickoff is 2 pm.
