OFFENSE- CHASE BRADSHAW, Saskatoon Hilltops
The 5th-year pivot had a career-high 405 yards passing in Sundayβs 45-33 win over the Winnipeg Rifles in the Hilltops home opener.
The 6β0, 185-pound product of Saskatoon completed 19 of 31 passes, with 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. Sundayβs game was a Canadian Junior Football League first, as he and Winnipeg signal-caller Ryan Marsch who passed for 426 yards, became the first two quarterbacks to throw over 400 yards against each other in a game.
DEFENSE-PRINCE BAFFOH- Calgary Colts
The 3rd-year defensive end who joined the Colts from the BCFCβs Vancouver Island Raiders has become the kingpin of a ferocious Calgary defense that has surrendered just a single touchdown in the first two games.
In Saturday nightβs 24-10 win over the Edmonton Huskies, Baffoh racked up a pair of quarterback sacks, a forced fumble which turned into a 46-yard touchdown return that was the pivotal score in the victory, in addition to an assisted tackle.
Baffoh is a 6β3, 245-pound native of Hamilton.

SPECIAL TEAMS-BEN KOOT- Regina Thunder
The 4th-year placekicker would be a perfect 3-3 in the field goal department in Reginaβs 44-10 rout of the Edmonton Wildcats on Sunday afternoon, and 4-4 on the young season. He would connect on placements of 33, 35 and 30 yards respectively.
Koot is 2nd in the PFC scoring race with 13 points, trailing only Calgary kicker Andrew Fabian, who has 15.
The 6β4, 210-pound graduate of Cornerstone High School is a product of McLean, Saskatchewan.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
