OFFENSE- CUONG THAI LIEU-Calgary Colts
The 3rd-year tailback was held in check early on in the first half of Calgaryβs 49-33 victory in Winnipeg on Sunday afternoon. The second half however, was a different story as he blazed through the Winnipeg defense for a 120-yard afternoon on 28 carries, including a 31-yard 4th quarter touchdown run. Lieu is presently 4th in conference rushing with 508 yards.
DEFENSE-BEN CRESSMAN-Saskatoon Hilltops
Sundayβs 10-7 Saskatoon victory over the Edmonton Wildcats was a classic defensive struggle and the 4th-year linebacker & Rosetown native contributed in a huge way as he recorded 7 tackles, 2 assisted stops, a pass knockdown and a fumble recovery for a 7-yard return.
The 20-point game vaulted Cressman into 3rd spot in the PFC Defensive Points Standings with 76.

SPECIAL TEAMS-ANDREW FABIAN-CALGARY COLTS
For the second time in three weeks, the 2nd-year kicker/punter has staked his claim to PFC Special Teams Player of the Week courtesy of a perfect 4-4 afternoon in the field goal department, as well as tacking on 5 converts in the Colts 49-33. Fabian regains the conference scoring lead with 58 points. The Tilley, AB product also averaged 44 yards per punt as he punted 6 times.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
