Tier I
Harry Ainlay Titans vs. Spruce Grove Panthers

Thursday, October 6, 5:00 p.m.
Foote Field (Edmonton)

Last year the Titans streaked to their first Provincial Tier I Final in 23 seasons before bowing to eventual champion Raymond. This year they are out to prove that, despite losing some quality players to graduation, they are no one trick pony. So far so good as they have shut out teams in four of the five game they have played and dominated each opponent by at least five touchdowns. The Panthers were thought to be one of the contenders to knock off the Titans in the Public league but after early promise have gone .500 since. Still they are a dangerous team with lots of talent rising up from the strong minor system in Spruce Grove so this will be a good test for both teams. (Source: Football Alberta)
