SECOND ANNUAL FCCA CONVENTION RETURNING TO BURLINGTON, ONTARIO MARCH 24 AND 25
(Ottawa β Nov. 24, 2011) Football Canada in partnership with Canada Football Chat.com (CFC) and the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) are proud to announce that the 2012 Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) Convention will return to Corpus Christi Secondary School in Burlington, Ontario on Saturday, March 24 through Sunday, March 25. The FCCA Convention is a coaching development opportunity which features presentations from some of the premier minor, high school, junior, Canadian and American university, as well as the Canadian Football League and National Football League coaches.

In addition to the Saturday and Sunday convention itself, National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) workshops will also be conducted. More information to follow.
Highlights from the inaugural convention included:

[*]200 participants networking, exchanging football information and setting up exhibition games between their teams
[*]20 football vendors promoting their products to the football community

“Once coaches hear about what went on here today they are going to make this their destination for a coaching clinic,” said Mark Pankow of Smith Falls Ontario after attending the 2011 edition of the FCCA Convention.
βThis was as good as any clinic and convention [that] I have ever attended,” remarked Nick Inzerello, Director of Development, USA Football. He added that, “Every coach knew their craft and I learned a ton this weekend”.
