Mason Rossler plays determined and inspired football for good reason. The Regina native started his career in the Regina Minor football system and has been a star on various teams.

Mason played 6 years of Regina Minor Football – 2 years for the Alouettes, 2 years for the Razorback and 2 with the Stampeders. He played 2 years for his high school, the Riffel Royals and in 2011 he started for U18 Team Saskatchewan at the Football Canada Cup.

Mason’s most memorable football experience was “winning City finals in triple overtime, this football season against the defending champs Campbell Tartans.”

There is a long list of people that Mason gives credit too for his football and life development. Coaches include John Bolen (Head Coach – Riffel), Matt Firnez (Offensive Coordinator – Riffel), Tyler Hogan (Defensive Coordinator – Riffel) and Len Antonini (Head Coach – Team Saskatchewan). Much credit goes to his family including and especially Marcel Rossler (Dad) and Rhonda Mearns-Rossler (Mother).

Finally, inspiration is easy to find in those tough moments on and off the football field “My Uncle Rick Mearns, who was tragically taken from us before I was born in a car accident. I never met him but he was my age when he passed, and was well on his way to a very promising NHL career. I play for him and always know hes looking down on me and giving me the strength to push my self as hard as possible in games when I’m exhausted and in practice.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
