Class 2012: LB/DB Jordan Comtois chooses Queens University for next chapter (VIDEO)


After a hard debate between strong CIS programs, Jordan Comtois makes the decision to head to Queens University.

Jordan Comtois began playing football at a young age in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec. He played for Les Lions du College de Montreal for his minor football. When it came time for High school football, he was a member of Les Barons du Seminaire de Sherbrooke and was chosen as team captain for 2 years and also brought home many individual awards. Jordan played his entire High school career in Sherbrooke and decided to remain in the city to pursue his education and CEGEP football career at Champlain Lennoxville College with the Cougars (AAA CEGEP).

Jordan enjoyed a very successful career with the Cougars as he was seen as one of the Best Defensive players in the league and was recruited by various CIS programs but the 3 that stuck out for him were Laval, Queens and McGill. He made the decision that Queens was the right place for him as he wants to make an impact early. Jordan was a very important part of the Cougars defence that had an unbelievable year and for him, those great games were his best football moments.

The 6’1, 210 lbs Linebacker is known for his speed and great knowledge of the game and can also play Defensive Back and is also very useful on special teams.

Jordan added that the entire Cougars football organization have been his biggest insperation as they gave him what he needed on and off the field to become the player that he is today. His family also played a very big part by giving him encouragement in tough times and during the season also.

“My family was always there for me when i needed them, I could not ask for more”

Jordan will be enrolling at university in september 2012. He has what it takes to help Queens continue its success in the OUA.
