While it wonβt be expected to live up to the βBest Game Everβ that the teams played in last Novemberβs Vanier Cup, it has been confirmed that the McMaster Football team will travel to Quebec City to face the Laval Rouge et Or in a pre-season game in preparation for the 2012 CIS season.
Coach Ptaszek says another trip to Laval is a very exciting prospect. βPracticing and playing the premier team in the nation is the best possible way to prepare for the OUA regular season. I expect that both Rouge et Or and Marauder fans will be tremendously excited to see a rematch of the 2011 Vanier Cup,β Ptaszek said.
The game will be played on Sunday, August 26 at PEPS Stadium on the Laval campus with a 1 p.m. kick-off.

The Marauders open the 2012 OUA schedule at home on Labour Day, Monday September 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] versus the Guelph Gryphons. Kick-off at Ron Joyce Stadium will be at 1 p.m.
