Six of the eight come from Manitoba with three OL and five on the defensive side.
The Manitoba Bisons football team is pleased to announce the commitment of eight more recruits. Offensive lineman Anthony Daley, defensive lineman Evan Foster, offensive linemen Matt Hallock and Brock Kramble, defensive lineman/linebacker Pacome Matulu, linebackers Colton Farago, Andrew Johnston and defensive back Brent Berrington will be part of the Bison football program the upcoming 2013 season. Six of the eight newcomers come from Manitoba.

The additional of these versatile players bring additional internal competition to a variety of skilled positions. Daley, 19, played two seasons (2011-12) at the offensive lineman position with Langley Rams junior football team.

β’-His uncle played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for six seasons with Winnipeg, Ottawa and BC
Foster, 20, played last season (2012) at the defensive lineman position with Langley Rams junior football team.
β’-The 6β0β, 270 lbs. DL player was 2012 British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman as he was second in the conference with 9.5 sacks and also registered 27 total tackles in 2012
β’-The Chilliwack, BC native was also selected as 2012 Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) All-Canadian and 2012 BCFC All-Star

Kramble played last three seasons (2010-12) at the offensive lineman position with Greendell Falcon midget football team.
β’-The 6β6β, 300 lbs. OL player registered 22 tackles over the last three seasons
β’-The Winnipeg native was also part of the Falcons team that participated in International Football Tournament in Dublin, Ireland in August 2012
β’-Part of the 2013 varsity Blue & Gold game which is composed of top caliber Under-18 football players vying for a roster spot on the Manitoba Provincial team
Matulu, 24, played last three seasons (2010-12) as a basketball player with the Brandon Bobcats menβs basketball varsity team and moves over to the football field.
β’-The 6β4β, 215 lbs. defensive lineman/linebacker last played football in high school player registered 22 tackles over the last three seasons
β’-The Montreal native has a football family background as he is first cousins to Henoc and Cauchy Muamba, both now on the CFL Winnipeg Blue Bombers roster
Farago played two seasons (2010-11) at the linebacker position with Westshore Rebels junior football team.
β’-The Winnipeg native was selected a 2011 BCFC All-Star with 24 total tackles and 3.0 sacks in just four games during 2011
β’-In 2010, he registered 30 total tackles and 2.5 sacks with the Rebels
β’-Prior to the Rebels, played at Kelvin High School as was a Winnipeg High School Football League (WHSFL) All-Star in 2009 and 2008 and five time WHSFL player of the week during four years
Johnston played four seasons (2009-12) at the linebacker position with Westshore Rebels junior football team.
β’-The 5β11β, 195 lbs. linebacker was Rebels 2012 Defensive Player of the Year
Berrington, 18, played with St. Paulβs Crusaders high school football team in 2012.
β’-The 6β2β, 187 lbs. safety was a 2012 John Potter/D’Arcy Bain Sports Physiotherapy Award finalist
β’-Part of the 2012 Crusader WHSFL championship team when they went 12-0 and he registered 12.5 tackles during the season
β’-Part of the varsity Blue & Gold game for top caliber Under-16 football players vying for a roster spot on the Manitoba Provincial team and then made the team
β’-Also played hockey in high school and drafted to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL)
