Montreal linebacker recently signs with RSEQ team.
Kamba-Manueli Katchelewa will be starting his CIS career in his hometown.
Recently, the 6’0, 220 pound linebacker from Montreal, Quebec committed to the McGill Redmen. Katchelewa will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.
“I chose McGill because I liked the academic side of the university and the environment there,” said the Quebec linebacker of his decision. “For football, I liked the effort the coaches are making to bring this team back to the competitive level it used to be.”
Katchelewa comes to the Redmen after guiding Vieux-Montreal Spartiates to the CEGEP Division 1 Bol D’Or Championship this past November. Previous to the Spartiates, the linebacker suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1’s Notre-Dame Cactus.
