CFC#3NP St. Andrew’s College Saints defeated CFC#5NP St. Michael’s College Kerry Blues 35-8 this afternoon down at Bathurst and St. Clair.
RB Adre Simmonds once again led the way on offence, scoring four touchdowns and rushing for over 250 yards. Quarterback Ben Schmidt added another touchdown on a great bootleg run.
Gregor MacKellar, Lucas Ferreira, George Hutchings, Douglas Chen-Young, Cayne Lander and tight end Wells Karabin controlled the line of scrimmage all game long.
Defensively, Luke Wyatt was a force in the Kerry Blues backfield, while linebackers Walter Karabin and Nick Grossi enjoyed strong games. Linebacker Hamza Kabir added another interception to his season total, while the secondary, led by free safety Josh Carter, minimized the Kerry Blues passing game.
Next up for the Saints is an away game versus CFC#1NP Trinity College School Bears next Saturday.
