Offensive standout joins OUA team.
The Carleton Ravens have announced the addition of Jayde Rowe to their football program.
Rowe, the 5β11, 210 pound running back from Toronto, Ontario, will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.
βBeing able to recruit a talent like Jayde is great for our program and is helping us build a great class for 2016,β commented Ravens Head Coach Steve Sumarah. Β βJayde is an athletic back who not only can run through tackles but can also run away from defenders.Β β
βHe will be a great compliment to the backs we have and give us more depth at that position.β
Most recently, Rowe had a short stint with the CWUAAβs Regina Rams but left the team on September 12th. Previous to the Rams, the offensive standout suited up for JuCo team Chabot College Gladiators in Hayward, California.
Additionally, the running back has played for Forest Hill Falcons, the Scarborough Thunder of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and the Agincourt Lancers of the Toronto District Secondary Schools Athletic Association (TDSSAA).
Rowe has received many awards and honours including Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the year, Team MVP, Championship MVP, Conference MVP and League MVP.
