National Capital: Frontenac shows why they are the best team in ‘NC’ Bowl history (stats)

The Frontenac Falcons (Kingston) and the Crestwood Mustangs (Peterborough) met one another in the National Capital Bowl today at Rogers Center. The Falcons dominated, passing and running effectively all game. If not for two first half fumbles lost by the Falcons, the halftime score of 32 to 4 could have been a larger difference.

Rob Carnegie ran the ball well for the Falcons (accept for the fumbles) and QB Tyler Filson spread around the ball to receivers Mitch O’Connor, Jack Bagg, and Jacob Riha. RB Matt Clarkson showed some flashes for the Mustangs. The win was Frontenac’s 5th National Capital Bowl (started in 2000), the most of any National Capital program (Crestwood and St. Peter’s are next best with 2 a piece). Frontenac is 5 and 1 in National Capital bowl history. Crestwood is 2 and 5.
