RSEQ JUVENILE DIVISION 1 RECAP (5): Muganda keeps CFC#4 Blizzard perfect, Cloutier guides CFC#12 Wolves, Renaud & Renaud-Demoulin’s standout performances

Kalenga Muganda scored two touchdowns and rushed for 121 yards on nine receptions as CFC#4 Seminaire Saint-Francois Blizzard cruised to a 44-18 victory over CFC#11 College Notre-Dame Cactus in RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 Week 5 action.

With this victory, the Blizzard remained the only team with a perfect record in Division 1.

Vincent Carbonneau also tallied a major and amassed 114 yards on seven receptions in the win.Ā  Dominic Binette added a score and rushed for 105 yards on nine carries.

Pivot Thierry Doucet completed 15 passes in 26 attempts for 231 yards and a passing touchdown for the Blizzard.Ā  Samuel Martineau added six PATā€™s.

On defence, Charles Dion-Buteau registered nine solo and six assisted tackles.Ā  Thomas Landry had a tackle for a loss as well as seven solo and four assisted tackles.Ā  Vincent Delisle caught two interceptions, including one that he converted into a touchdown score.Ā Ā  Andew Veuilleux had one.Ā  Jeremy Metivier recorded a sack.

As for the Cactus, Jaā€™Shonte Wright-Mcleish scored a touchdown and racked up 158 yards on seven receptions.Ā  Alexandre Warin added a score and had 110 yards on seven receptions in the loss.

Mitchell Parr completed 13 passes in 22 attempts for 266 yards and two passing touchdowns.Ā  Antoine Couture added two PATā€™s.

Gabriel Coutu led the Cactus defence with five solo and 11 assisted tackles.Ā  Antoine Audet-MichaudĀ  recorded a sack and caught an interception.Ā  Myles Lussier also recorded a sack.

At Parc Roi-du-Nord, Guillaume Ranger tallied three majors (two receiving, one rushing) and had 151 yards on seven receptions as CFC#12 Cure-Antoine-LaBelle Wolves got past CFC#33 Triolet Harfangs 43-38.

William Villeneuve also scored a touchdown for the Wolves.

Samuel Cloutier completed 23 passes in 31 attempts for 329 yards and three touchdowns in the win.Ā  Raphael Gravel-Campbell was successful on six conversion attempts.

Jeremie Engelo caught an interception and ran into the end zone for a score.Ā  Daryl Jean-Charles had a tackle for a loss as well as an assisted and eight solo tackles.Ā  Samuel Leclerc caught an interception and racked up seven solo tackles. Jacob Lavoie recorded a sack for the Wolves.

CFC#32 ACADEMIE SAINT-LOUIS ARSENAL 30, CFC#49 SAINT-JEAN EUDES CONDORS 4:

At Saint-Jean Eudes, CFC#32 Academie Saint-Louis Arsenal thumped CFC#49 Saint-Jean Eudes Condors 30-4.

Pierre Morin and Karl Moughabghab each tallied majors for the Arsenal.Ā  Additionally, Emile Brochu caught an interception and converted it into a touchdown.Ā  Philippe Maheux added three PATā€™s.

Jean-Philippe Houle rushed for 100 yards on 18 carries.

On defence, Anthony Beaule registered two tackles for a loss, seven solo and two assisted tackles in the win.Ā  Anthony Desjardins recorded two sacks, two solo and two assisted tackles. Francis Bouchard, and Thomas Kuong each recorded a sack.

At CEPSUM, Stephenne Renaud scored five touchdowns and rushed for 235 yards on 26 carries to power College Jean Eudes Eagles to a 55-42 victory over Jean Rousseau Sphinx.

Jeremy White and Stephen Laurence Gervais each added a score.Ā  Esteban Tejada-Imbeau had 48 yards on seven receptions.

Pivot Charles-Olivier Lavigne completed 21 passes in 33 attempts for 147 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles. Timothe Pichette-Fragata added two field goals and seven PATā€™s.

Lambert Harvey guided the Eagles defence with seven solo and three assisted tackles.Ā  Michael Chiappone recorded two sacks while Felix Boucher added one.Ā  Olivier Bedard caught two interceptions while Olivier Suri-Cernacek and Sifax Kaced each caught one in the win.

Dale Laverdiere tallied the lone major for the Patriots and rushed for 72 yards on 13 carries. Dale Leger was successful on the point extra attempt.
