Joining Queen’s are running back Adam Black (Mississauga, Ont.), defensive back Justin Bowman (Mississauga, Ont.), defensive back Mitchell Henselwood (Stittsville, Ont.), quarterback Nate Hobbs (Mississauga, Ont.), defensive back Farhan Imtiaz (Kingston, Ont.), receiver Charlie Keenan (Ottawa), linebacker Nelkas Kwemo (Montreal), defensive back/receiver Chris Mackey (Oshawa, Ont.), defensive back/running back Wes Mann (Almonte, Ont.), offensive lineman Conor Redmond (Ottawa) and defensive lineman Jeff VanderSpank (Kingston, Ont.).
“Today is a special day for Queen’s football,” said head coach Sheahan as the newest Gaels were introduced to the media today. “We welcome some outstanding individuals into the Queen’s football program today and couldn’t be happier as they are some of the best the country has to offer.”

The Queen’s football team is also proud to announce that they have raised over $3,000 for breast cancer awareness through ticket sales for a local event.
The Queen’s football Gaels begin their regular season on the road when they take on the Windsor Lancers on Monday September 1, 2014. The Gaels then open up their home schedule on Saturday September 6 against the Ottawa Gee-Gees at 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Stadium.
