’15 #CFC100 recruit opts for Dinos

Calgary defensive back joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class.

Josh Quarles will be commencing his CIS career in his hometown.

Recently, the 5’10, 180 pound defensive back committed to the University of Calgary Dinos.  Quarles will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.

“I choose the University of Calgary because Calgary is my hometown and has one of the top football programs in the nation,” expressed Quarles after his commitment.

Among the teams Quarles has previously suited up for include Henry Wise Wood Warriors of the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association (CSHSAA) in the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA) and Calgary Bulldogs of the Calgary Area Midget Football Association (CAMFA).

Additionally, the defensive back has represented his home province as a member of Team Alberta at two Football Canada Cup tournaments during his career.  In 2015, Quarles was a member of the Team Canada roster that participated in the International Bowl in Arlington, Texas.

Quarles is also a #CFC100 CLASS 2015 ranked recruit.
