2015 ONTARIO PROSPECT CHALLENGE (Ottawa): Geary takes home Minor Defensive MVP

As far as bright spots go in a 39-6 loss they’re generally hard to find. Such is not the case for Cameron Geary who came up big for Team East with two highlight reel interceptions.

Both interceptions came on the fourth quarter and helped spark Team Easts fight, when they matched Team Central play for play and actually outscored them.

Geary was named Minor Game Defensive MVP.

Asked about the interceptions, Geary was even more excited about the opportunity to play.

“Just playing football again,” added Geary. “It means everything.”
