2022 CFC50 HIGH SCHOOL PRESEASON RANKINGS

Are you ready for another year of CFC50 madness?

Don’t get used to the rankings you see below, because there’s going to be a lot of movement in the next couple weeks as high school football kickoffs across the country.

Quebec always get the ball rolling early with regular season action last week, but there weren’t many surprises on hand. The reigning champions from College Notre-Dame were able to slip past Armand-Corbeil with a 24-10 victory. Elsewhere Charles-Lemoyne dispatched Collège de Lévis by a score of 27-10, while Sém. St-François and Saint-Jean-Eudes dominated in their matchups against Triolet and Académie Saint-Louis respectively.

We’ve already had some action in Alberta where a rematch of the provincial finals took place between Harry Ainlay and St. Francis. A turn of events would’ve been a fun way to start the year, but once again Harry Ainlay once again found no problems against their rivals from Calgary walking away with another 31-14 victory. Will they meet again in November for what seems like their annual title showdown? Stay tuned.

BC also had some preseason action with the defending champions out of G.W. Graham cruising to an easy win against Belmont, while runner-ups Terry Fox were able to slide by Carson Graham. We’ve still got two more weeks of exhibition showdowns in BC before the real party gets started, and as always it’s shaping up to be a very competetive year on the West Coast.
