4 recruits sign LOI’s with CIS schools during Chaminade’s Signing Day

On Wednesday April 6, 2016, the Chaminade College School Football Gryphons celebrated their first annual ‘Signing Day’.  A total of 6 players signed their letters of intent to continue to play football in the CIS and Prep School in the USA.

Gabriel Pallotto – The University of Waterloo, Tyree Dunn – Mount Alison University,  Esson Hamilton – Wilfred Laurier University, Steven Longo – York University, Henrique Custodio – UBC all signed with their respective schools stretching the, now, former Chaminade Gryphons from coast to coast.

Waiting in the wings are three other potential Gryphons, Nicholas Decesare, Jesse Amaral, and Ovie Efijemueh who may be signing their letters of intent in the near future.

Daekwon Blair, a grade 11 student, signed his letter to finish his high school years at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut making it the fourth consecutive year a Chaminade Gryphon has attended a prep school in the USA following in the footsteps of Tevaun Smith – Kent School, Stewart Anoya – Loomis Chaffee, Jordan Burgher – Montverde Academy, Henrique Custodio – The Hill School and Mekhi Hyman – North Central Texas Academy.
