4th annual Scott Flory Football Jamboree goes today in Pincourt, Quebec


The Western Patriotes Football Association will play host to the fourth annual Scott Flory Football Jamboree this Saturday in Pincourt.

A total of 28 minor football teams are entered in the one-day event which will be held at the new synthetic turf field in Pincourt, next to École secondaire du Chêne-Bleu.

Teams will be divided into five age groups, including titan (6-7 years), atom( 8-9), mosquito (10-11), peewee (12-13) and bantam (14-15).

Action begins at 8:30 a.m. and will continue into the evening. Each team will play a minimum of three 30-minute games.

In keeping with jamboree tradition, no official game scores will be kept.

The mosquito, peewee and bantam teams will play 12-man football, while the atoms play 9-man ball. The young titans play flag football.

The football field is located at 225 Pincourt Blvd.
