Recruiting 101: Why the 48 Hour Rule is Essential to Building Your Network

Recruiting is a two-way street. And like any good route, timing is everything.

A lot of players think the job is done once a coach replies to a message or shows interest at a camp. They get a “we’ll be in touch,” a thumbs-up on Twitter, or a short convo after a combine. And then they wait. And wait. And wait. Until the opportunity dries up and they’re left wondering what went wrong.
