LANTZ – Football Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the eight player travel team who will be representing Nova Scotia at the 2013 Flag Football National Championships in Regina, Saskatchewan from July 25-28.
The eight girls who were selected from the Provincial Team of 11 players will face off against Manitoba on Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. Other provinces represented in the National Championship include British Colombia, Saskatchewan, and Quebec. All games will take place at the University of Regina.
In the past three years Nova Scotia has had great success, receiving a medal each year. In 2012 the under-16 women’s won silver. Many of the girls on that team have moved on to this under-18 team. In 2011 and 2010 the under-18 women’s team won bronze both years.
