Plus oneΒ team of youngsters will get the opportunity to run onto the field with the starting line up and take partΒ in the pregame coin flip.

“CJFL teams are an integral part of the communities that they represent,” said CJFL CommissionerΒ Jim Pankovich. “Minor football, along with the Canadian Junior Football organizations, is important toΒ the development of our next generation athletes and community leaders. The CJFL is pleased toΒ showcase minor football in our communities during the CJFL Minor Football Week.”

Thousands of kids play minor football across the country each year and the CJFL would like toΒ recognize them along with the countless volunteer hours from coaches, game staff and parents.

Many of the young athletes that are showcased during the CJFL Minor Football Week will ultimatelyΒ play for a CJFL community based organization.
