(Press release – 7pm) HAMILTON, Ont. β The Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Board of Directors have voted to deny McGillβs application for playing privileges in OUA football.
The request for playing privileges is appropriate in circumstances when teams do not have access to leagues in their own Regional Association. In the case of McGillβs football program, the university can and does play football in RΓ©seau du sport Γ©tudiant du QuΓ©bec (RSEQ) which is a viable league that allows McGill to compete in CIS football and the opportunity to compete for the Vanier Cup.
