Edmonton offensive lineman joins CWUAA team’s 2015 class
For Ramey Kharfan, staying home was the best option for him.
Consequently, the 6β4, 315 pound offensive lineman from Edmonton has committed to the University of Alberta Golden Bears for the 2014 CWUAA season.
βSome prominent factors leading me to stay home in Alberta for sure were the academic supports offered by the school itself,β explained Kharfan of his decision.Β βNot only that, but I have full confidence in the coaching staff their especially Coach (Chris) Morris.β
βIβm excited to be part of a rebuilding team like the University of Alberta.Β I feel like they have a really great core of guys to build around as well.β
Kharfan is currently playing for Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).
Ultimately, the Alberta offensive lineman is excited to commence his career in front of the hometown crowd.
βItβs nice to represent my city and to stay homeβ added Kharfan.
