Signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2016 by the NFL, DE Mehdi Abdesmad announced via twitter and Facebook that he has made the Titans 53 man roster for 2016.

Mehdi was ranked the fourth-best Canadian-born prospect in December 2015 by the CFL’s scouting bureau. Abdesmad played 39 career games at Boston College despite 2 seasons riddled with injury. Previous to that, he attended Cegep du Vieux-Montreal where he earned the 2010 Collégial AAA Defensive MVP honours as a DE. He led the Spartiates to the 2009 provincial championship and the 2010 championship game.
