AFL: Holland Hurricanes head to Fredericton

The Holland Hurricanes Football Club will be heading to Fredericton Saturday to go up against the UNB (Fredericton) Red Bombers on Chapman Field at UNB in Fredericton. Kick-off time for Saturday’s game is 7 p.m.

The Hurricanes come to the game after a 62-0 win at home last weekend against the UNB Saint John Seawolves. The two games played between the Hurricanes and the Red Bombers last year were hard-fought contests won by the Red Bombers. The expectation this year is that the games will be just as challenging.

Hurricanes head coach Mark MacDougall said he is looking for strong performances from last week’s APM Players of the Game, Vinnie DeSciscio, who rushed for over 100 yards and three touchdowns, and linebacker Marcus Dunphy, who made seven tackles and one interception.

“We have had a good week of preparation for the game, but are expecting UNB to be equally well prepared for their season opener at home.”

The game will be broadcast online. For more information, visit [url]http://redbombers.com/watch.
