Charlottetown, PE β The Holland Hurricanes, last seasonβs Atlantic Football League Moosehead Cup championship winners, will host the University of New Brunswick Fredericton Red BombersΒ this Sunday at 1 p.m.Β at the UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place in their home-opener.
The βCaneβs defeated the UNB Saint John Seawolves 36-13 last weekend. Head Coach Andrew Hickey said the win against the Seawolves has given the team a boost in confidence, much needed with so many new players on the roster.
βOur players are excited to be playing at home. The Bombers always play us tough and last week they put up a lot of points against Dalhousie. We are ready for a battle,β he said.
