Akeel Lynch chooses Boston College for ’12: Tells CFC why he did (video)

Toronto’s Akeel Lynch has made his decision. After offers from half a dozen FBS schools including Penn State, Duke, Connecticut and Buffalo, Akeel has decided to travel to Boston to attend Boston College in 2012. Akeel made it official at a press conference at his high school in Buffalo. CFC asked Akeel a few questions about his decision:

Why did you pick Boston College over schools like Penn state and others?

It was a tough decision , BC had a great mix of academics and football , the coaches made the difference by making me feel apart of their family. The offense fits my style, it’s the zone offense that we run here

What advice can you give grade 8 – 10 students who want to chase the NCAA dream?

if you want it go get , if it comes down that you have to leave home , its worth it

Who do you want to thank in this process?

Want to thank my mom , coach smith (head coach), godfrey lewis, family & friends

Akeel “the kidd” Lynch is no longer ‘the kidd’…6’1″ 205 lbs. running a 4.40 40-yard dash and sub 11 second 100 meter.
