Akeel Lynch has huge game for St. Francis High (Buffalo, NY)

After having some standout games to start the season for St Francis, Junior running back Akeel Lynch had his best outing yet with 5 TDs vs St. Joe’s on Saturday .

He lead St. Francis to their first win of the season and could not be stopped all day. He had 173 yards rushing with 4 TDs, to go with 76 yards receiving and 1 TD reception through the air.

St. Francis runs past Monsignor Martin rival St. Joe’s 49-21 for their first win of the season.
St. Joe’s took a 14-7 lead in the first quarter after a short TD run by QB #12 Chad Kelly.
The Red Raiders would answer with a 71 yard touchdown run by #6 Akeel Lynch to tie things at 14.

Early in the 2nd quarter St. Francis would take the lead on a 27 yard TD pass from QB #19 Brian Melisz to Lynch to go up 21-14.

The Marauders would respond with a 48 yard touchdown run by #5 Nicholas Hall to tie things at 21.

But it was all St. Francis and Lynch after that. Lynch would add three touchdown runs as the Red Raiders pulled away for the big victory.

Lynch finished with 173 yards rushing and four touchdowns and 76 yards receiving and one touchdown in the win.

The Red Raiders defense added six sacks on the day.
