Here are the provincial playdown schedules for all 4 tiers of high school football in alberta for 2010. Championship finals will be played November 26th and 27th at Shouldice Field.

**Region 1 is responsible for determining it’s two representatives at it’s own discretion at both the Tier III and Tier IV levels.
Region I has more Tier III teams than Region 2, this will force Cochrane & Big Sky Tier III to playoff
*If Region 3 cannot field team, the berth will go to Region 2 with the next greatest number of teams

Region 6 – Edmonton Public
Region 7 – Wheatland and Fort McMurray
Region 8 – Mighty Peace

Notes
Tier I – host locations and partners rotate for the north bracket
Tier II – host locations and partners rotate in the north
Tier III – host locations rotate for both halves of the draw
(hosts are in a two year rotation cycle for South bracket, so hosts will remain the same again in 10/11, then rotate in 11/12)
– 1A/1B and 2A/2B are determined by the respective regions
Tier IV – same as Tier III
