Alberta “North” Selection Camp for 26th Annual Senior Bowl this weekend (ROSTER)

Football Alberta will be holding the “North” Selection Camp for its’ 26^th Annual Senior Bowl High School Football All-Star Game for graduating Grade 12’s this weekend (see schedule below) at Foote Field in Edmonton.

Below is the roster of the close to 180 players who will be vying for the final 40 spots to take on the “South” in the 26^th Senior Bowl to be held in McMahon Stadium in Calgary on Monday, May 18, 2015.  The coaches charged with the selections are chosen from the Northern Alberta high school teams who advanced to their respective Provincial Tier Championship game in 2014 as well as Champion teams from leagues that did not have a team make a Provincial Final.  They are:

Robert Ostrom (St. Josephs, Grande Prairie) – DL
Dustin Fallscheer (Holy Rosary, Lloydminster) – LB
Rob Harrod (Millwoods Christian, Edmonton) – DB

They will be assisted by the coaches from Edmonton’s two Junior Football Teams – the Huskies and Wildcats – who will operate the drills while the Senior Bowl North Coaches do the evaluations.  Football Alberta would like to recognize and thank Head Coaches Iain MacLean (Huskies) and Darcy Park (Wildcats) for their invaluable assistance.  The U of A Golden Bears and Head Coach Chris Morris are also to be thanked for their assistance with the facility and support staff to make this event run and the Edmonton Eskimos for their financial support for this event through their 50/50 program.  Nowhere else in Canada do you get this level of cooperation for all levels of the game other than in Alberta!

The roster of the selected “North” Team will be released on Monday.  The “South” Selection Camp follows next weekend in Calgary April 17-19.
