The Concordia Stingers football program is pleased to announce linebacker Alexandre Renaud from CĆ©gep Ćdouard-Montpetit has committed to the Stingers and will join the team in August.
Renaud was a 2013 all-star in the RSEQ division 1 conference. He ranked seventh overall in tackles with 29 solos and 47 assists for a total of 52.5.
The five-foot-10, 185-pound linebacker is respected for his physical play and athleticism. He is also an exceptional special teams player.
Before joining the Ćdouard-Montpetit Lynx, Renaud was an outstanding player in the St. Hubert Rebelles minor football system.
The native of St. Hubert, Que. plans to pursue his studies in Engineering.
