"My biggest take away from trying out for the game was I can really do anything I put my mind to. In grade 9, I was bad at football and I never thought I`d be where I am today, but after the starting tackle graduated I knew I had to step up for my team and my QB. When I found out I made it, I was ecstatic honestly I almost cried. It means the world to me to be considered one of the top prospects."

"The biggest lesson I took away from the tryout was that there were a lot of great athletes to compete against, and this was only the guys in Red Deer. My reaction to making the rosters was shocking. I had no idea how I would compare to the rest of the country, but I guess I matched up alright."
